We are excited to announce the arrival in store of Sew 25 - A year of Creative Stitching.
Sew 25 is a collaboration of 8 designers put together by one of our pattern distributors, Creative Abundance. Sew 25 is a boxed set of 12 patterns and other goodies to keep you stitching throughout 2025. The patterns are printed and only available from quilt shops like us. The patterns are not available for individual purchase.
Great news for you is that the whole set, including preprinted linen, templates, stickers and other goodies valued at over $120 is only $78!
You can work your way through your stash, a favourite fabric bundle or choose new fabrics for your projects.
I have put together some fabric suggestions for you from my favourite fabrics, threads and trims currently available. Let me know if I can put a bundle together for you. Fabrics are available at the time of writing. Click on the photos to see online purchase options or call us on 03 5755 5118
Bella Bouquet from Molly & Mama - Embroidery design pre-printed on linen is included. Grab a box of beautiful Eleganza threads and start stitching. Finish your hoop art with strips of your favourite fabric or ribbon for a delightful gift.
Bella Bow Headband set by Tadah Patterns is a sweet pattern, perfect for you little Miss and would look lovely in two pink prints such as these Garden of Dreams II fabrics by Jason Yenter.
Blooming Bookmarks from Lilabelle Lane Creations comes pre-printed on linen, along with this cute thread keeper. I have chosen four skeins of Valdani stranded cottons which I think would look amazing.
Dumpling Bag from Little Moos Designs would look fabulous in Grace by Valori Wells. A cute little bag to clip on the handlebars of your bike or pram.
Florafield mini quilt from Craftapalooza will come together quickly if you choose a charm pack like Brave from Anna Maria or Kaffe. The quilt is embellished with yo-yo's and big stitch quilting in your favourite 12wt or Perle thread.
Hey Hex coasters from Craftapalooza could be hand or machine pieced and would look great fussy cut from Brave by Anna Maria.
Miss Mouse cushion pattern by Claire Turpin Designs would like soft and pretty in Garden of Dreams II by Jason Yenter. Applique by hand with Eleganze or Valdani threads, Machine applique with Wonderfil Harmony or Spagetti threads.
My Happy Place mini quilt from Lilabelle Lane features embroidered blocks set amongst the fabric. The bright pastels of Soul Fusion from Art Gallery Fabrics work well with the Coral Reef Eleganza set. You can choose linen or cotton to trace your stitcheries.
The Owl Pin Cushion from Ric Rac would look delightful in any of these Vintage Soul florals and felt. Make one or lots!
Prickly Pete Cactus pincushion from Melly & Me features "spikey" Ric Rac and set in a cute pot with a blooming hat.
Scrappy Happy Needle Book from Molly & Mama. If, like me, you have a stash of ribbons, trims, buttons and beads then this is the perfect project to use them in. Hours of fun to be had embellishing fabric creating handy little needle books.
Triangulum Patchy Pouch by Little Moo Designs. Use the included template to cut squares for a patchy look or use a fabric like this one from the Vintage Soul range to make this versatile pouch. You could also use one of the Mosaic or Hexagon designed fabrics is you didn't want to piece the pouch
So there you have it! A year of creative stitching patterns for you to personalise, customise and make for gifts for your friends and family.
The Sew 25 pattern box set is available for a limited time only and is exclusive to local quilt shops. Here is the link to purchase from us online https://www.sewbright.com.au/sewbrightonline-store/Sew-25-c174650257
