This years' special guest at Australian Quilt Market was Anna Maria Horner. Several of her quilts were on display including this one at the entrance.

First stop was the Two Green Zebras stand, supplier of Robert Kaufman fabrics, Red Rooster Fabrics, Tilda Fabrics. The new range from Tilda is called Bumblebee and it is just gorgeous as usual. We will have all the pink and greens and a few blues.

Elizabeth Hartman has a new range coming January/February 2017 called Pond. She has designed four quilts, my favourite is Florence the Flamingo. The fabric colours are softer range previous ranges but will still work together. The patterns are in stock now.

Valori Wells new range is called Jasmine. Very bright again and like Mystic inspired by her trip to Morocco. It should be here Feb/March 2017.

Urbanologie is a new pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful and uses their QCR Ruler which makes cutting curves a breeze. We currently have the mini version of the ruller in stock and I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of this design next year. We will run it as a block of the month and also have classes in using the ruler and piecing tips for your blocks.

Cottage Garden Threads have some awesome new thread ranges and new designers. I love the Namesake range featuring designs by Amy Kallissa, they are amazeballs and I think will be well received. I also grabbed a kit for the August Parade wallhanging which features hand dyed wool flannel and CGT by Katie Dawson.

A cool new gadget I picked up is the Multi Pom pom maker. You can make up to 20 pom poms at a time. Check it out next time you visit.

And last but not least, for me a visit to Melbourne would not be complete without a visit to the sea. I popped down to the beach near where we stayed to say hello. It was cold and windy at the time so just time for a couple of quick pics.
